Terms of service
Effective 2026-10-01. Written in plain language; this is not legal advice. This is a translation: if it differs from the French version, the French version prevails.
Who sells
The services are offered by Gabriel Jossic (legal name: Jossic Gabriel), a self-employed sole proprietor based in Sainte-Luce, Quebec, Canada. Email: gabriel.jossic@gmail.com. Payments appear on statements as JOSSIC WEB.
What we sell
Fixed-price digital services delivered online: website creation and fixes, product page copy for online stores, technical SEO and accessibility audits, business research reports. From time to time we also offer small software tools or data utilities; each has its own page stating its price and any specific terms.
The exact scope of a job is what is described in the written quote we send you by email and that you accept. Anything not listed there is quoted separately before it is done.
Customers
Our services are for businesses, organisations and self-employed people buying them for their professional activities. By ordering, you confirm that you are acting in that capacity.
Preview, quote and price
Before any payment, we prepare a free preview of the work. If you want to go ahead, we send you a written quote stating the scope, fixed price, currency, applicable taxes, delivery time and number of revision rounds included. The agreed price does not change during the work unless you ask in writing for something extra and accept the new quote.
Payment
Payment is made on a secure checkout page hosted by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Depending on the job, the quote provides either full payment after you approve the preview, or a deposit at the start and the balance on delivery.
Delivery time and delivery
Work is delivered by email within the time stated in the quote, counted from the day we have received everything we need from you. Every delivery includes a quality note describing the checks done, the sources used and known limits. If we expect a delay, we tell you by email before the due date.
Your material
You confirm that you have the right to use the text, images, logos and other material you send us. We use it only to complete your order.
Ownership of the work
Once the price is paid in full, the deliverables made for you are yours; you may use and change them freely. We may keep a copy for our records. We do not show your work as a sample without your written permission.
Use of artificial intelligence
We use AI tools (mainly Claude, by Anthropic) to research, write, code and analyse. Every deliverable is checked against a written checklist before delivery, and Gabriel Jossic is responsible for it.
What we do not promise
We deliver the work described in the quote. We do not promise any number of customers, sales or visits, or any position in search engines, because these depend on many factors outside our control. An accessibility audit is not a certificate of legal compliance. Our deliverables are not legal, tax, financial, medical or security advice.
Cancellation
You can cancel an order at any time by email. If you cancel before work starts, any deposit is refunded in full. If you cancel during the work, you pay only for the part already done, itemised in writing, and the rest of the deposit is refunded. Refunds follow our refund policy.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. This limit does not apply to harm caused by intentional or gross fault, or to bodily or moral injury.
Governing law and language
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute falls under the courts of Quebec. If this English version differs from the French version, the French version prevails.
Changes
We may update these terms by publishing a new version on this page with its effective date. An order already accepted stays governed by the terms in force when it was accepted.
